The members of the British royal family are talented.

Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, Prince William, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle are among the most popular individuals around the world because they are royals. However, aside from being a member of the Firm, these individuals have talents, too. Check out their hidden talents below.

Queen Elizabeth II

Queen Elizabeth II is always prim and proper, but those close to the monarch can attest to her one helluva sense of humor. She is smart and witty and is a great comedian.

“I think the Queen is the comedian. She's a wonderful mimic,” royal biographer Ingrid Seward said.

According to Seward, the Queen can do Liverpool and she’s very good at it. She also recalled an incident at an informal dinner in Kentucky when the monarch was challenged by old friend William Farish to mimic one lady’s Deep Southern accent.

Her Majesty reportedly asked until the end of dinner to give her some time to prepare and when she did it, it was “word-perfect.”

Prince Philip

The Duke of Edinburgh has a hidden talent, too. The 97-year-old royal is notably growing truffles. He was the first person to coax black truffles from British soil with not even trained truffle dogs being able to find them.

In addition, Prince Philip has been gardening since 2006. He has produced rare and highly sought after French Perigord black truffle that’s worth $252 per 100 grams.

Prince William

Unknown to many, Prince William is a musically inclined since the duke can play the bass guitar. The second-in-line to the throne was presenting Brinsley Forde, frontman of reggae group Aswad, with an MBE when he revealed his hidden talent.

“He said 'I'm a bit good on the bass guitar' so I'm thinking of signing him up, but he's got such a lot of other duties I don't know whether he'll have time to do it,” Forde joked.

Kate Middleton

Middleton is popular for her skills in photography. The royal mom of three has been releasing photos of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis that she personally took to celebrate their milestones.

In April, Middleton shared snaps of Prince Louis to celebrate his first birthday. In May, the Duchess of Cambridge released photos of Princess Charlotte to mark her fourth birthday.

Meghan Markle

Aside from acting, the Duchess of Sussex has impressive penmanship. In fact, Markle worked as a calligraphy instructor at Paper Source, a Beverly Hills paper and gift retailer from 2004 to 2005.
