Queen Elizabeth II's, Princess Diana's and Kate Middleton's pregnancies had captured the public’s interest, so it is no surprise that Meghan Markle's first pregnancy with her and Prince Harry's child is also getting attention. Many wanted to see their growing tummy as they were expecting their bundle of joy.

Here’s what their baby bumps looked like just shortly before welcoming their babies, as compiled by Hello! magazine.

Queen Elizabeth II

Unlike the younger royals, there are only a few photos of the monarch when she was pregnant. In this picture, Queen Elizabeth II was six months along with Prince Edward. Her Majesty didn’t look heavily pregnant because she wore a very loose top.

From the looks of it, Queen Elizabeth II looked very happy. This photo was captured during her visit to Burlington House to watch the preview of the winter exhibition “Goya And His Times” at the Royal Academy. This was among the Queen’s final public appearances before she gave birth to Prince Edward.

Princess Diana

Princess Diana was the first royal mom to wear her baby bump with pride. In this snap, she looked radiant in a flowing baby pink dress that draped around her big baby bump.

This photo was captured at a polo match with Prince Charles in June 1982 when the People’s Princess was only days away from her due date. Later that month, the Prince and Princess of Wales introduced their eldest son, Prince William.

Kate Middleton

The Duchess of Cambridge continued the trend that Princess Diana started and also wore her baby bump with pride during all three of her pregnancies.

Middleton was glowing during Trooping the Colour ceremony at Buckingham Palace on June 15, 2013. Prince William’s wife was only a month away from her due date at the time. On July 22, she and Prince William welcomed their firstborn, Prince George.

In March 2015, Middleton was seen wearing a stylish Hobbs Dalmatian dress during a visit to the Turner Contemporary art gallery in Margate. At the time, the duchess was already seven months along with Princess Charlotte. On May 2, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their only daughter.

Meghan Markle

It remains unknown how far along the Duchess of Sussex is, but she hinted that her baby will not be coming until April. There are, however, rumors that she might be due as early as February or March. In Markle’s recent engagement where she and Prince Harry attended the premiere of Cirque du Soleil's Totem in support of Sentebale at the Royal Albert Hall in London, the royal looked heavily pregnant.
