Sylvester Stallone has shared a new teaser photo of his upcoming film “Rambo 5: Last Blood.” The fans are eagerly waiting to see the first trailer of the film, which is expected to be released on May 24 at the Cannes Film Festival.

One major factor about John Rambo (Stallone) has been the post traumatic stress disorder that he has suffered after the Vietnam War. That theme will continue in the last film of the franchise.

A new still from the upcoming film that Stallone shared on Instagram shows his character’s face soaked in blood. A hand written note in the pictures reveals that the former soldier came back home, but he “never arrived.”

John still likes to use a bow, which will be handy while dealing with the bad guys in the upcoming film. The plot of the film revolves around the former soldier going on a rescue mission, fighting a Mexican cartel.

The bow isn’t the only iconic weapon that John will be using in “Rambo 5: Last Blood.” Stallone had previously shared a picture of a new knife.

The new knife is called “The Heart-Stopper.” The knife is made of stainless steel, has a titanium guard, and the handle is a Green Micarta. On top of the handle there is a brass fixture called “SKULLCRUSHER,” which Stallone teased will “come in handy.”

One of the cast members of the upcoming film is Dimitry ‘Vegas’ Thivaios. In a recent interview with Variety, the actor said that “Rambo” was the first action film he saw as a kid with his father, without telling his mom.

Talking about Stallone, Thivaios said that the veteran actor is a hard working professional who sees everything that is happening on the set. He added that he learned more by watching the “Rambo” actor work than what he learned for years in acting class.

“Rambo 5: Last Blood” will be released on Sept. 20. The film has been directed by Adrian Grunberg.
