Scenes from “Rambo 5: Last Blood” and a possible trailer will be released at the Cannes Film Festival. Sylvester Stallone announced that his upcoming movie will be part of the film festival and also thanked the fans for their support during all these years.

Stallone, who will be reprising his role as John Rambo for the last time in the upcoming film, shared a throwback picture of him as the character on Instagram. In the post, the actor announced that some of the scenes from the film will be shown at the Cannes Film Festival.

It isn’t clear if a trailer of “Rambo 5” will be shown at the film festival. The film is still in the post production phase of development and the producers are yet to release the first teaser online.

The fans going to Cannes Film Festival may be the first to see a teaser or at least some of the scenes in the film. Apart from the scenes from the movie, the event is also an opportunity for Stallone to look back at the long journey of his character that began with 1982.

The plot of the film revolves around John Rambo’s daughter Gabrielle (Yvette Monreal) getting kidnapped by a Mexican cartel. Stallone previously shared a scene from the movie of John and his daughter relaxing at their ranch by going horseback riding.

Stallone also shared a scene in the movie in which his character realizes that his daughter has gone missing. A major part of the film will focus on the former soldier going in search of his daughter.

Just as the previous movies, “Rambo 5: Last Blood” will be action packed. Stallone shared a scene from the movie that showed the first fight between his character and the Mexican cartel. “A brutal storm is about to burst,” the actor captioned the picture.
