Conference championship Sunday is finally here. By the end of the day, the competitors in the Super Bowl will be decided, and two teams will go home heartbroken. The final four teams represent the four best offenses in the NFL, so oddsmakers expect tight, relatively high-scorin games across the board, according to Vegas Insider.

The latest odds for the AFC Championship Game in Kansas City have the New England Patriots as postseason underdogs for just the seventh time in the Bill Belichick era. The Kansas City Chiefs are 3-point home favorites over the Patriots, as they have the presumptive league MVP at quarterback and a defense that has played significantly better recently.

The over/under for that game is 56.5 points, so oddsmakers clearly do not expect a low-scoring affair. When these two teams met in Week 6 in Foxboro, the Patriots barely edged the Chiefs 43-40, on a game-winning field goal at the end of regulation.

In the NFC, the conference title will also come down to the conference’s two best teams from the regular season. The Los Angeles Rams are in the Big Easy to take on the New Orleans Saints, and oddsmakers have similar expectations for this game. The Saints are only 3-point favorites in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, where they have not lost a postseason game this century.

The over/under for that game is almost exactly the same, at 57 points. The regular season matchup between these two teams saw the Saints beat the Rams 45-35 in a Superdome shootout.
