  • The producer hopes that Kent's new relationship will help her move on and find peace
  • Emmett reacted a week after Kent compared her new romance to her previous relationship

Lala Kent has been open about her new romance and sex life following her split from Randall Emmett, prompting the latter to release a statement about the "Vanderpump Rules" star still talking about him.

The 51-year-old producer reacted to Kent's new dating life. According to his rep, he is happy for his ex-fiancée but hopes she will stop talking about him.

"Randall is happy Lala is having other relationships," the filmmaker's rep told Us Weekly Thursday. "He hopes this will help her move on with her life and find peace."

The statement concluded, "Maybe now she can stop talking about him every opportunity she gets."

Randall's statement came nearly a week after Kent opened up about her new romance and sex life and compared them to her previous relationship. Kent opened up about how she navigated the dating scene after her split from Emmett at BravoCon 2022.

"I'm having the best sex of my life, which I mean, compared to my old relationship that was not hard to do," Kent told Us Weekly at BravoCon on Oct. 15. "Oh, this shade! I can't stop. I haven't conquered the art of being quiet."

The Bravo personality added that while she's enjoying her new romance, she's not showing any milestones on the upcoming seasons of "Vanderpump Rules."

"You won't see me, like, dating, but you'll see the dude who I hooked up. [He was] the first boy I slept with since my last relationship," she teased. "Which was very weird. I was like, 'There's cameras here.' And I'm like, 'This is a boy that I'm gonna hook up with. This is weird.'"

Kent and Emmett separated in October 2021 after being engaged for three years amid rumors that he cheated on her. An anonymous source told People that the Give Them Lala Beauty founder was "completely blindsided" by their split.

"Lala was completely blindsided by all of this and was living in the dark for so long," the tipster said. "But now she is doing the best she can to keep her chin up and pushing forward with taking care of her daughter and supporting her family."

A week before their split, Kent did an interview and spoke about her relationship with Emmett. She expressed her excitement about him joining her on her reality show.

She also said she knew their relationship "makes absolutely no sense on paper" and there was so much judgment, but a closer look at their relationship would give people an overview of their romance. Unfortunately, they split a week after the interview.
