“Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 11 cast member Cynthia Bailey’s storyline with boyfriend Mike Hill may be heating up on camera but off screen, a new report suggests it’s a lie the Bravo star concocted out of fear of getting fired.

Although Cynthia has been a cast member on “RHOA” for years, there have been reports suggesting her storylines are no longer interesting and the network is looking to replace her with someone who can bring more drama to the reality series.

Following an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen,” in which Cynthia suggested she will eventually marry Mike, RadarOnline published an article claiming Bravo believes the star is lying.

An alleged source told the site, “the folks in charge see right through Cynthia. They know that she’s trying to stay on the show and keep her job, but they don’t believe her ‘getting married’ story.”

The supposed insider went on to claim the network isn’t interested in keeping Cynthia, who is believed to make too much money for a cast member that doesn’t add much to the show.

“She was making a last-ditch effort to make sure producers wanted her back by saying she’s getting married, but if she’s getting married why doesn’t it just happen? And where is the ring?”

It is unclear whether Cynthia will be asked to return as a full-time cast member should “RHOA” film another season.

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 11 airs Sundays at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
