“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice is having a difficult time coping with the father of her kids being away in prison and her mother recently passing away. But instead of wallowing in misery, the 45-year-old has decided to channel the negativity in her life into her upcoming memoir.

On Wednesday, the mother-of-four exclusively shared the first look at her new memoir with People. Entitled “Standing Strong,” the memoir details the very challenging time Giudice went through after the death of her mother. She also wrote about Joe, who is still serving his 41-month jail sentence, in her book.

Giudice admitted that looking back at the events had not been as unpleasant as she thought it would be. “I found that writing this book and talking about everything I was going through was very therapeutic for me,” she said.

Giudice, who had authored several lifestyle and cook books, added: “Writing this particular book has been very emotional and personal for me as I am going to depths that I have never gone to in previous books.”

The reality TV star previously released her memoir titled “Turning the Tables,” in which she wrote about her time in prison. The next memoir, which is scheduled to arrive this fall, serves as a continuation. “I think this is a natural sequel to ‘Turning the Tables,’ as it chronicles my life after I came home from Danbury [Federal Correctional Institution]. It in essence picks up where the last book left off,” she explained.

While her next memoir will focus on her struggles after her time in jail, Giudice did not miss the opportunity to include some of the happy moments she’s had after reuniting with her daughters, Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana.

Last September, Guidice opened up about her daughters’ response to Joe’s incarceration. “They’re doing good. I’m sure it wasn’t easy, but a little easier because they went through it with me so they know what to expect,” she exclusively told People at the time. “But they miss him tremendously, they always say we miss dad. They miss him. You can feel his absence, our family’s definitely incomplete without him.”

Speaking of Joe, he turned 45 last Monday. On his birthday, daughters Milania and Gia took to Instagram to write a meaningful and heartwarming message for the patriarch. “Dad you teach me how to do everything! You will never know how much I love you,” Milania wrote in her post. “Miss you so much. Can’t wait for you to make me endlessly laugh everyday,” Gia wrote in hers.
