A Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund prospect reportedly wants to leave his agent because of bad reputation.

Rumor has it that Real Madrid could leverage a deal in the future which will see them signing Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland. However, Los Blancos reportedly have their eyes locked on Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, a signing which the club hopes to land sooner.

As Real Madrid’s pursuit of Camavinga progresses, Fichajes.com (via Besoccer.com) reported that the 17-year-old is opting to part ways with his agent Moussa Sissoko. Camavinga is currently represented by Sissoko, an agent who also deals with Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembélé.

Sources claimed that Camavinga’s father wants to cut his son’s ties with Sissoko due to a certain “bad reputation.” Camavinga’s dad reportedly fears that Sissoko might affect the future and reputation of his son who is on the verge of becoming soccer’s next superstar.

However, the report further stated that ending Camavinga’s ties with Sissoko could also ruin his chances of playing for Real Madrid in the future. It was said that the breakup could affect the growing interest of Los Blancos in the midfield sensation.

Apart from Real, Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund has also been mentioned as one of Camavinga’s suitors. Dortmund has been tagged as one of Europe’s clubs who have been eyeing to land young talented players, and apparently, Camavinga is included in their target list.

In case Camavinga’s breakup with Sissoko happens, the youngster’s future negotiations will reportedly be handled by a lawyer.

Prior to this report, Real Madrid is believed to already be preparing a deal for Camavinga. At 17, Camavinga has already been displaying of maturity inside the pitch and has shown he can play in any position in midfield. Despite his lanky physique and odd stance, his ball control, chance creation and defense have been incredible. The Rennes star burst onto the scene at Ligue 1 this season and is now a top prospect across Europe’s top five leagues.

However, Rennes’ president Nicolas Holveck recently addressed the talks about Camavinga and as of now, the team has no plans of letting go of the youngster.

“The priority will be to keep our team, which has shown all its talent in this fantastic season. We'll have to be smart in the transfer market to improve the team and make it the best we possibly can in order to pass this qualifying round,” Holveck said.
