  • Real Madrid joins Premier League giants in race for Jadon Sancho
  • Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea are all interested in Sancho
  • Borussia Dortmund is said to offer Sancho at £100 million

Real Madrid has reportedly opened its radar for Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, placing the youngster as an early transfer target for 2021. The Spanish capital could be monitoring the situation revolving around the 20-year-old, who is said to have a strong mutual interest with a couple of Premier League clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.

“Jadon Sancho has been linked with a move to Real Madrid on the front cover of AS today,” Will Faulks wrote Tuesday. “The Borussia Dortmund youngster has been linked with almost every major club in world football, and in an almost inevitable fashion, Madrid are the latest to crop up in the rumor mill.

With limited financial capacity brought by the global health crisis, Zinedine Zidane is just keeping his fingers crossed as he hopes for the availability of the English prodigy at least for another round of transfer talks next year.

“Madrid likely won’t have the funds to sign him this summer but will hope that no other team swoops for the England international, allowing them a clearer path next summer when they have raised some funds and assessed the damage of the coronavirus crisis,” Faulks added.

Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea are all speculated to consider the German club’s offer for the English footballer, which is reportedly worth £100 million.

Among the three, the Red Devils are being labeled as the most viable landing spot for the rising footballer.

Man United’s former defender Wes Brown has supported the claim, as he said via Mirror: "We need someone exactly like that at the club. We’ve had them over the years and I’m sure if we were to sign him he would bring that excitement back to the club. It would be good for the team as well."

Sancho has become a sought-after talent after flaunting a sensational display of his game that has wreaked havoc in Bundesliga this season.

He has recorded a total of 17 goals this year, including a hat-trick on Dortmund’s 6-1 drubbing of Paderborn on Sunday. On top of it, he has also registered a total of 17 assists in 27 appearances.
