  • Real Madrid has sent midfielder Dani Ceballos on loan to Arsenal
  • This is Ceballos’ second stint with Arsenal
  • Ceballos’ market value is estimated to be at 32 million Euros

The services of Dani Ceballos are once again needed by Arsenal as they’ve finalized a loan for Real Madrid’s attacking midfielder. This will be Ceballos’ second stint under The Gunners.

With Mikel Arteta requesting Ceballos to return to the squad, Real Madrid has sent Ceballos back to England where he can further develop his game. Suiting up again for the Premier League for an additional season was the advice given by Arteta to the 24-year-old per The Guardian. Having another season in England would give him more playing time and help his development as a player.

This was evident in his first stint with Arteta’s squad as he was a key contributor in the team’s FA Cup Final victory over Chelsea. In the 2-1 championship win, Ceballos played all 90 minutes for the club. Throughout his entire stay in Arsenal, he’s appeared in 37 games, scored two goals and tallied two assists.

Being loaned again to Arsenal would also benefit Real Madrid, as it will give them a chance to hone Ceballos’ skills before calling him back when needed. Players such as Casemiro, Odegaard, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Fede Valverde, and Isco are some midfielders to look out for in Los Blancos’ lineup, per Fansided’s The Real Champs. Loaning out Ceballos will give him time to mature even more and return as an even stronger asset for the team.

The current estimated market value of Ceballos is at 32 million Euros. The young rising star has the agility to move well on the pitch and facilitate a steady flow of the offense for his team. The Spaniard is a strong passer with a success rate of 88.8% throughout his career. In addition to this, he’s also a capable defensive player where he has averages of 1.7 tackles a night and 1.2 interceptions an outing.

Expectations are high for both clubs and the loan will serve both sides in terms of improving their team’s roster. Sending Ceballos to Arsenal will give the Emirates Stadium-based team a young player who can play with high levels of energy. For Real Madrid, they’re able to monitor Ceballos’ improvement and have him as an option when the time comes for his return to Zinedine Zidane’s lineup.
