Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have not finalized their divorce amid reports the “Batman” star has entered rehab again to receive treatment for his alcohol addiction.

Affleck and Garner share three children together, daughters Violet, and Serafina, and son Samuel. The stars, who first split in 2015, had been working together to co-parent their kids while they hammered out the details to dissolve their 12-year marriage.

However, after Affleck reportedly began drinking again, sources told E! News the actors have reached an amicable settlement, but their divorce will not be finalized until the “Gone Girl” star’s health improves.

“The divorce is wrapped up but has not been signed off on. They are waiting for Ben to get out to do that,” the insider shared.

“They both want to move on and end the financial negotiations and the custody discussions,” the confidante added.

The 46-year-old actor, who recently split with girlfriend Lindsay Shookus, checked into rehab last week, marking the third time he has sought help for his addiction. “Ben is still in rehab and has not left. He’s doing OK,” the source revealed.

“He seems serious about living in for at least 30 days,” the insider continued.

Affleck first entered rehab in 2001 due to alcohol-related issues. In March 2017, the actor announced he completed another stint in rehab for his alcohol addiction and thanked Garner for her support during the process.

“I’m lucky to have the love of my family and friends, including my co-parent, Jen, who has supported me and cared for our kids as I’ve done the work I set out to do. This was the first of many steps being taken towards a positive recovery,” he wrote in a Facebook post at the time.

Garner is reportedly the one who convinced Affleck to enter rehab a third time by staging an intervention at his home. “He told Jen and was not resistant. He asked her to take him and she wanted to be there for him,” a source explained.

While the actress wants the best for the father of her children, those close to the stars told TMZ there is no chance of a reconciliation.

Garner and Affleck, who do not have a prenup, have reportedly reached a property and custody settlement. However, filing the documents to legally finalize the divorce will depend on the actor’s sobriety.
