Jennifer Lopez does not want to become “more of a housewife” for Alex Rodriguez, despite rumors. Gossip Cop debunked rumors stating Lopez is planning to take a step back from her career to focus on her boyfriend.

According to Globe, Lopez wants to be more attentive to Rodriguez for which she is planning to take a step back from showbiz. The magazine also quoted an insider saying “Jennifer wants to be the traditional partner that Alex needs.”

“She’s scaling back a little, especially the TV commitments that take tons of time and keep her based in L.A., which has never been a good fit with Alex’s jet-set lifestyle and social circle in New York,” the alleged source said.

“All her marriages fell apart because she was doing too much for her career and not enough for the husbands,” the source continued.

However, the premise of the report seems fabricated as Lopez announced last week that she would be producing a cop drama for NBC and also working on a song with Bad Bunny. She is also set for the promotional tour of her upcoming movie "Second Act", which will hit theaters in December.

Gossip Cop checked with a source close to the singer, who confirmed the report was completely false. Her boyfriend is also a huge supporter of her career, and the couple manages to spend quality time together despite their busy schedules, the source added.

Recently, the “Booty” singer gushed about her beau’s undying support for her and her career.

"It's been something beyond my wildest dreams to have a partner who is so supportive and loving and really, really loves what I do and doesn't try to squash me in anyway but tries to always raise me up. There's just something about having that type of love and support that makes you soar and that's what I think we try to be for each other and I just feel so lucky,” she told E! News.

Rodriguez also showed his love for the singer through an Instagram post in which he wrote, "#AllIHave isn't just the name of the show, it's what she has given to her audiences every single night. That's what makes her great. When she hits the stage, the audience gets her best effort. That was true on her first performance, will be true tonight and it has been that way every show in between. She is working as hard today as she does every day and it's amazing to watch."

In September, Gossip Cop had debunked another report in the magazine that falsely claimed Rodriguez is jealous of Lopez ’s co-star Milo Ventimiglia. The magazine also quoted a source saying “The idea of Jennifer filming love scenes with a guy who’s openly got the hots for her is Alex’s worst nightmare. The fact that Milo clearly has a thing for her… is making Rodriguez green with envy.”

The couple started dating early 2017 and made their first red carpet appearance together at the Met Gala 2017.
