After weeks of controversy surrounding racially insensitive comments, Kelly Dodd revealed a few details about her life that may have some rethinking their perspective of her.

On June 20, the Bravo "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star took a moment to respond to a fan on Instagram who, according to Us Weekly, asked, "But, like, do you truly believe that because 'You're Mexican you can’t be racist'?"

"I’ve experienced racism personally," Kelly responded. "I’m a woman of color and love everyone!"

The comment came after former "RHOC" star Tamra Judge weighed in on whether or not Kelly should be fired from the show much like the handful of other Bravo reality stars who the network cut ties with after their racially insensitive comments and behaviors were exposed. Noting a video from 2016 in which Kelly said she doesn't "like Black guys," Tamra replied, "Yes I do. That TMZ video is disgusting!"

Kelly apologized shortly after the incident, telling TMZ, "I am truly embarrassed. There is no excuse for bad behavior or comments that offend anyone. That video does not represent who I really am and I apologize for acting irresponsibly."

Tamra isn't the only one who thinks the 44-year-old mother of one should be canned by Bravo. Apparently, there is an entire group of people dedicated to getting her off the air.

"I got a call from [cast member] Braunwyn [Windham-Burke] this morning telling me about some Facebook 'hate group' that's texting Evolution, my production company, to 'fire Kelly Dodd,'" Kelly explained in an Instagram Story on May 23. "Well, you know what? This has been happening for the last five years that I've been on the show... Tamra tried to get me fired and [former cast member] Vicki [Gunvalson] tried to get me fired."

"So you guys ...get a life," Kelly snapped. "Do something positive. Maybe help other people out instead of being such haters. It's hilarious right now, okay? Get a life."
