If you were hoping to see Rob Kardashian on this season of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” don’t hold your breath. According to People magazine, momager Kris Jenner thinks it’s best that her son avoids E!’s cameras. Rob has struggled rather publicly with depression, anxiety and issues stemming from his weight gain in recent months. The 28-year-old has avoided the public eye for the better part of the last year, emerging only occasionally to defend himself or lash out on social media. Multiple reports claim his family’s concern is growing as he continues to withdraw from others and act out online.

The magazine reports Kris believes her son is “unstable” and cannot handle filming. She has chosen not to include him in Season 10 of the family’s reality TV show, according to production sources.

“Kris doesn’t want Rob on the show when he is emotionally unstable,” the insider revealed.

Kris is said to be furious with her son over his most recent outburst. On Sunday, Rob posted a photo comparing his sister Kim Kardashian to Amy Dunn, the twisted character in the film adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s “Gone Girl.” Kim did not respond to the attack, which some sources claim was a joke. Others are calling it a “cry for help.”

According to Hollywood Life, the 59-year-old Kardashian matriarch recently called the entire family together to discuss their options for dealing with Rob’s issues. Sources say he has not been receptive to therapy, so they are considering other options. People previously reported the family has attempted numerous times to have interventions with Rob, but failed.

“She wants everyone there to make sure they are on the same page,” a source told the site.

In the past, Khloe Kardashian has been successful in getting through to her younger brother. The two are quite close and even reportedly live together. The 30-year-old recently told WonderWall her brother had developed “a kind of social anxiety” with all the scrutiny he’s faced and was “not at his happiest place.” Still, she remained hopeful that he will get there soon.

While Khloe retains faith in eventual happiness for her brother, sources tell People his condition is only getting worse. Rob is said to be incredibly “sad” and “bitter.”

“He has retreated more. He’s sad, he’s bitter, he’s single. He is very depressed and has been [for a while,]” the source said.
