Robert Pattinson has a net worth of $100 million. Here is how the former star of the “Twilight” movies makes his money.

Pattinson starred alongside Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner in the “Twilight” movies. It was based on a highly successful book series written by Stephenie Meyer. The books were transformed into 5 movies namely: “Twilight” (2008), “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” (2009), “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” (2010), “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” (2011) and “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2” (2012). There is an ongoing clamor from fans to have a new “Twilight” movie, but it all depends on whether Meyer wants to do it.

In the movie, Pattinson played as the lead character Edward Cullen. The “Twilight” movies catapulted his career to superstardom. He started his career at a young age, appearing in small stage plays in his hometown in Barnes, England as part of the Barnes Theatre Company. He auditioned for parts that had no lines and had stints as a model from age 12 to 16, per Celebrity Net Worth. Among the plays that can be found in his resume are Macbeth, Anything Goes, and Tess of the d'Urbervilles.

In 2005, he played the role of Cedric Digory in “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.” Because of his good looks and acting chops, many saw his potential in the showbiz industry. Fans quickly labeled him the next Jude Law. Because of the growing popularity, he was tapped to be the lead vampire in the best-selling books by Meyer.

The “Twilight” gig did not only increase the popularity of its three main stars, but it also made them multimillionaires. Stewart, Pattinson and Lautner reportedly made at least $41 million each for making the last two “Twilight” movies. They received $25 million for the movie and a cut from the box-office sales. Experts predicted that the actors were able to take home a big amount of money since the last two movies raked in $829,724,737 and $689,420,051, globally.

Since then, the 34-year-old actor has appeared in a slew of movies such as “The Summer House,” “Little Ashes,” “Remember Me,” “Queen of the Desert,” “Life,” “The Childhood of a Leader,” “The Lost City of Z” and “The Lighthouse.” His latest project is Christopher Nolan’s “Tenet,” which also stars John David Washington, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Michael Caine, and Kenneth Branagh. Tenet is scheduled for a July 2020 worldwide release. He is also preparing for “The Batman.”
