Robert Pattinson has emerged to be one of the most promising talents in Hollywood. He is constantly doing movies of different genres and letting the world know that he has impeccable acting skills. The actor is all set to don the cape for the upcoming movie “The Batman” and is spilling out some specific details on how he is preparing for the role.

Many actors have portrayed the Dark Knight on the big screen. From Adam West to Ben Affleck, many Hollywood A-listers have worn the iconic costume to create their versions of the fictional character. And that was one of the biggest reasons for Pattinson to say yes to the movie.

Speaking in an interview with GQ, the 33-year-old actor revealed that he decided to say yes to the movie because he thinks a massive role like this is more fun when several actors have already presented their own versions of the character.

Pattinson also feels that there are very well-made renditions of Batman that seem pretty “definitive.”

“I think sometimes the downsides seem like upsides. I like the fact that not only are there very, very, very well-done versions of the character which seem pretty definitive, but I was thinking that there are multiple definitive playings of the character. And then I was thinking, it is fun when more and more ground has been covered,” Pattinson said.

West, Michael Keaton, George Clooney, Val Kilmer, Christian Bale, and Affleck have portrayed the caped crusader in different films.

Later in the interview, the “Lighthouse” star also opened up about Christopher Nolan’s upcoming movie “Tenet.” Pattinson explained that Nolan’s next project is pretty “insane” and he was amazed to see huge set-piece scenes in various countries.

“[‘Tenet’ is] so insane. In each country, there is, like, an enormous set-piece scene, which is like the climax of a normal movie. In every single country,” Pattinson said.

The plot of the movie is currently unknown, but it revolves around espionage, time travel, and evolution.

The movie also stars John David Washington, Kenneth Branagh, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Debicki, Michael Caine, Clemence Poesy, Himesh Patel, and Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles.

“Tenet” is scheduled to hit theaters on July 17, 2020.
