WWE superstar CM Punk seems to have found a new fan in the form of UFC bantamweight fighter Ronda Rousey.

Rousey tuned in to the WWE’s “Old School” episode of its popular weekly wrestling show, Raw. Punk’s performance must have caught the 26-year-old’s eye, because she took to Twitter to reveal that she thought he was “sexy.”

“Dammit! The second I said you were sexy you lost…Maybe I should cut that out… #SpeedosAndHoodies #OldSchoolRaw,” Rousey wrote, referring to Punk’s wrestling attire. The tweet was posted just minutes after Punk lost his “Old School Raw” match against fellow WWE talent Roman Reigns, Larry Brown Sports notes.

Punk has yet to respond to Rousey’s tweet, and it’s fair to assume that his relationship with girlfriend AJ Lee has something to do with his silence. Lee, who is also a well-known WWE performer, has reacted harshly to Punk’s female acquaintances in the past.

Lee reportedly got into a backstage screaming match in December with NBC host Michelle Beadle at the taping for WWE’s “Tribute to the Troops” event. At some point during the production, Beadle reportedly approached Punk and made a comment of unknown significance. Wrestling insider Dave Meltzer claimed that Lee “cursed out” Beadle but didn't reveal the cause of the altercation.

After the incident, Beadle posted a series of tweets that seemed to suggest that Lee had yelled at her over suspicions that she had been flirting with Punk. “Lost another friend to CGFN. … crazy girlfriend neutering,” Beadle wrote. Other reports suggested that Lee thought that her encounter with Beadle was part of a WWE promo and was simply staying in character.

In any event, Rousey can clearly take care of herself, so it’s unlikely that she’s overly concerned with Lee’s reaction to her “sexy” comment. The UFC’s first female titleholder recently dismantled challenger Miesha Tate at the “UFC 168” pay-per-view event.
