Jersey Shore star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has been named a “person of interest” in a possible burglary that took place at Jen Harley’s home, hours after the two ended their relationship Tuesday.

TMZ reported that the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to the residence at 3.32 a.m. local time (6.32 a.m. EST) on New Year’s Day to reports of a burglary.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that couple got into a huge argument, post-midnight at the New Year’s eve party. The fight reportedly began when Harley spilled a drink on Ortiz-Magro’s shoes. He then stormed off from the venue. A few hours later, she found her house ransacked, with the TV, glass frame and vase completely shattered. She then called cops and informed them that she believed that the reality star broke into the house and caused the damage.

Speaking about the call, a source told US Weekly, “Ronnie was not at the home when police arrived at the scene. Jen was not injured, but given the history of police calls between these two, police more than likely provided Jen with information about getting a restraining order, and other things she could do to prevent an escalating domestic violence issue.”

Law enforcement sources also revealed that Ortiz-Magro was not a suspect as there was no evidence to prove that he committed the crime. The police is, however, likely to speak to him regarding the incident.

US Weekly revealed Wednesday, that the two split following a fight on New Year’s Eve.

The website had quoted a source as saying, “They broke up before New Year’s Eve, got back together right before then and got in a big fight on Monday night. They’re currently broken up. But it’s the same story every time: They are together, they fight, they break up and then get back together. They fight — a lot. They have a very volatile relationship.”

The 33-year-old reality star has deleted every photo of Harley from his social media account since their breakup and also went on to like a comment slamming Harley that was left on a picture, she shared of their 8-month-old daughter.

This is not the first time the couple have gotten into trouble with the law. In October 2018, Ortiz-Magro filed a battery report against Harley and earlier that year, Harley was arrested on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge.

Ortiz-Magro’s net worth as of May 2018 was $3 million. The reality television personality was cast in Jersey Shore in 2009 and reportedly made about $80,000 an episode by the time the show went off air in 2012. Since then, he has been involved in TNA Wrestling and is currently promoting Gen X Biotech, a marijuana company.
