After the release of the first major DLC for “Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot” last April, it appears Bandai Namco is not yet done adding some interesting content to the game.

According to the latest leaks, the game will get an interesting new feature in June in the form of Tao Pai Pai’s Pillar.

For those not in the know, the Tao Pai Pai Pillar is one of the many vehicles that players can ride in “Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.” It came from a classic scene in the anime wherein the assassin Tao Pai Pai broke a pillar from The Red Ribbon Army headquarters after he was tasked to kill a young Goku.

After breaking the Pillar, Tao Pai Pai launched it based on his calculation of Goku’s location and rode it to get to his target.

Now, in a screenshot of the latest V-Jump issue showing a teaser for the magazine’s next release, it was revealed that Tao Pai Pai Pillar could be released any time now. As DM Gaming discussed in his video, since the next issue of V-Jump (where the announcement was supposed to be made) is set for June 19, it is likely that the said new content will be added sooner rather than later.

However, it is worth noting that the said content will only be available to those who bought the ultimate edition of the game.

While it isn’t a major update and it is unlikely it will be a game-changer, it is still a nice item to collect and have fun with from time to time.

“Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot” continues to be popular in the industry, though it received some criticisms recently due to its first DLC titled “A New Power Awakens – Part 1.” In a Metacritic review, the DLC was criticized for its senseless grinding battles before reaching the boss Beerus.

It remains to be seen when Part 2 of the DLC will come out, but several fans are already expecting it to make amends for the rather disappointing turnout of the first DLC installment.

“Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot” is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam.
