Sam Asghari is coming to his wife Britney Spears' defense.

Asghari took to his Instagram Stories Saturday night to shut down a report claiming that the pop superstar had a "meltdown" at a restaurant.

"Don't believe what you read online people," he wrote, Page Six reported.

The model-actor made the post hours after TMZ published a story claiming that Spears, 41, had "caused a scene" at Joey in Woodland Hills, California, while having dinner with Asghari, 28, Friday night.

The outlet cited eyewitnesses as alleging that the "Stronger" songstress was acting "manic" and "talking gibberish," prompting her husband to "storm out" of the restaurant.

However, footage obtained by TMZ appeared to contradict the eyewitness accounts. The video only showed Spears shielding her face with a menu as another patron filmed her on a cellphone. It did not show Spears talking incoherently or Asghari storming out.

A manager at the establishment declined to share details about the couple's visit when Page Six initially reached out.

But an unnamed employee told the outlet exclusively, "The disruptor wasn't Britney — it was the diner who taunted her by taking a video without consent."

Spears "was understandably upset," and Asghari "only left briefly to get their car, but he did not storm out," according to the employee.

Spears seemingly responded to the report by giving the middle finger in a new video she uploaded on Instagram, which had the comments switched off.

In the clip, she can be seen dancing to the tune of Divinyls' "I Touch Myself," sporting a white tube mini dress with neon yellow piping and a pair of white knee-high boots. She poked her tongue out and flipped off the camera twice.

In another post, Spears shared a defiant meme featuring a woman wearing a green outfit with sunglasses while sitting on a chair with her legs crossed. "They told me I couldn't. That's why I did!" the illustration read. She also opted to turn off the comments for the post.

The singer then wrote on Instagram Sunday night, "I know the news is all hyped about me being a little drunk at a restaurant ... It's like they'll be WATCHING MY EVERY MOVE!!! I'm so flattered they talk about me like a maniac THEN have the balls to talk about all the negative things that happened in my past!!!"

The "Toxic" hitmaker has been posting near-nude images and videos of herself over the past few months, including a clip of herself bathing and flaunting some skin at the beach and in a bathtub.

Spears also shared clips and pictures of her participating in bizarre dances, showing the middle finger and eating a cake off the floor.
