After officially introducing its latest innovative smartphone last week, Samsung Electronics is now gushing about the Galaxy A9’s standout feature: a rear camera module with four lenses. The South Korean giant has released an infographic detailing the lenses and functions of the module.

According to the infographic, the topmost camera in the module is a 120-degrees Ultra Wide lens with an 8-megapixel sensor and an f/2.4 aperture. This lens is said to make capturing panoramic shots easier for users. The tech giant noted that the Ultra Wide lens captures whole scenes with less panning.

The second camera has a telephoto lens with a 10-megapixel sensor and an f/2.4 aperture. This lens offers 2x Optical Zoom. Thus, users can capture great details even when they are far away from their subject. Objects from a distance would look nearer and larger once they are photographed.

The Galaxy’s A9’s third camera is the main snapper. It has a 24-megapixel sensor and an f/1.7 aperture. The 24-megapixel lens is designed to be sharp no matter what the lighting conditions are. This camera also utilizes a pixel re-mosaic algorithm that is capable of maintaining peak performance even in low light conditions, producing clear images with less noise.

The fourth camera is referred to as the Depth Lens. It has 5 megapixels and an f/2.2 aperture. This comes with a feature called Live Focus that lets users adjust their depth of field. This way, they can add smooth bokeh effect to their images to give them an artistic look.
