International Business Times recently detailed the 3D Video leak pertaining to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 5 phablet. A new leak now points to the hardware configuration of the Note 5, as well as the curved-edge Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus.

Sam Mobile’s insider source says the Galaxy Note 5 device will feature a 5.67-inch Super AMOLED display, along with a QHD screen resolution. The smartphone will be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 7422 processor. GSM Arena points out that the chip is a redesigned version of the powerful Exynos 7420, seen in the flagship Galaxy S6. But the new chipset will come housed with built-in cellular modems.

The Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will have a 5.7-inch screen and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor. The most powerful Qualcomm chip is the S820, followed by S810 and S808 processors, says GSM Arena.

The S6 Edge Plus will have 32 GB of internal storage capacity, a 16 MP rear-facing camera with OIS support and 2160p video recording capability. There also will be a 5 MP front-facing camera. The smartphone will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS. It will have a 3,000 mAh battery unit.

Both the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus are said to feature glass backs, similar to the Galaxy S6. A glass back would put an end to the user-replaceable battery unit.

There is no official information about the existence of a microSD card slot for further expansion. The Note 5 has been code-named “Project Noble,” while the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is internally called “Project Zen,” notes Sam Mobile. Samsung has not confirmed the Galaxy Note 5 or Galaxy S6 Edge Plus specifications.
