Amid rampant leaks and rumors, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has garnered much attention since the tech giant introduced the unusually designed Galaxy S6 Edge smartphone. The Note lineup of devices has been a big hot with a stylus pen in tow. Meanwhile, here is a list of reported specifications, features, in addition to the leaked photos, release date and possible price of the coming phablet.

Galaxy Note 5 Leaked Photos

Leaked live photos picked up by Droid-Life confirm two key, most-anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note 5 specifications. The coming phablet will not come with a removable battery unit, and there will be no microSD card slot. The Note 5 looks like a replica of the Galaxy S6’s exterior design, but is bigger and has a curved back, notes Phone Arena.

The 2015 flagship smartphones Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge do not feature the aforesaid features either. In order to get a slick design, Samsung has compromised on usability. But then, the Note series have been a standout for offering every aspect a customer would desire. However, that trend is about to change with the Galaxy Note 5. Galaxy Note 5 Release Date, Price

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is expected to be unveiled on Aug. 13. Samsung has shifted the introduction cycle of the Galaxy Note series from September to August, in order to get a head-start ahead of competitors, notes Phone Arena. PC Advisor says the Galaxy Note 5 price is likely to be around 599 British pounds ($930).

Galaxy Note 5 Specifications, Features

Phone Arena says the Galaxy Note 5 will pack a Quad HD screen resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels, in addition to the synonymous Super AMOLED display technology. It will come powered by a new Qualcomm MDM9635M chipset, with an octa-core (Samsung Exynos 7422) processor. Notably, this hardware combination supports Cat. 6 LTE connectivity.

Droid-Life says the phablet will have a killer 4 GB of RAM configuration and 3,000 mAh battery unit. The Galaxy Note 5 will come equipped with 32 GB / 64 GB / 128 GB of built-in memory storage options. It will sport a 16 MP rear-facing camera sensor, along with a cool 5 MP secondary selfie clicker at the front. The company has not confirmed the Galaxy Note 5 specifications, features and price so far.
