Samsung has announced new Notebook 7 models ahead of WWDC 2019, and they look incredibly similar to some high-end laptops from the competition.

With Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference slated to happen June 3 to 7 this year, Apple fans are likely interested to see what the Cupertino company is going to reveal to the masses. Well, one company got so excited that it introduced its own line of laptops that look incredibly similar to Apple’s MacBook Pros.

The Verge reported that Samsung recently announced new laptops dubbed the Notebook 7. These laptops, coming in 13- and 15-inch models, are powered by Windows and feature a slew of useful ports not normally found in a MacBook Pro.

A MacBook Pro with Windows?

These new laptops run on Windows 10; are powered by eighth-gen Intel processors and have 8GB of RAM; feature a USB-C port, two USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port and a microSD slot. They also have fingerprint sensors on their keyboards, and all feature 1080p screens.

Both of these devices provide support for an additional SSD for those who want faster storage, and come with Intel’s integrated graphics card. Those who want more graphics power can buy the 15-inch configured with an entry-level Nvidia GeForce MX250 discrete graphics card.

All of these specs are encased in a silver steel case that, as mentioned above, make them look like the MacBook Pro. The 13-inch model, in particular, is very reminiscent of Apple’s high-end laptop, especially because of how its keyboard and trackpad are positioned.

Those who want a Windows laptop that looks like a MacBook Pro now have Samsung’s Notebook 7 as an option. These laptops will become available in the U.S. on July 26, and will be sold starting at $999.

A black MacBook Pro?

Samsung also announced a more powerful version aside from the silver-colored 13- and 15-inch models. Dubbed the Notebook 7 Force, this model is a 15.6-inch laptop that comes in a black metal body. CNet says it is aimed for those who want the Razer Blade laptop, but it does sure like a black MacBook Pro.

The Notebook7 Force also features an eighth-gen Intel processor, but backs it up with more beefier specs: 16GB of RAM, 512GB SSD and room to add a 2.5-inch hard drive and another SSD, and a GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card.
