Sarah Ferguson is not at ease with her daughter Princess Eugenie's upcoming royal wedding.

According to Alice Scarsi, a journalist for Express, the Duchess of Cornwall is already "very nervous" about Prince Philip's attending Princess Eugenie's big day. The two are reportedly still not on speaking terms as the duke has not forgiven her following her toegate scandal that resulted in her divorce from Prince Andrew.

Ferguson is expected to sit beside the Duke of York as parents of the bride. Thus, she will be in close proximity to the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh. Many offered Ferguson a friendly advice to just behave and make sure that she doesn't go over the top on the day.

Prince Philip and Ferguson were caught in a sticky situation in August after both visited the Queen in Balmoral. The Duchess of York reportedly arrived with Prince Andrew and Princess Beatrice. However, she made sure to leave the estate prior to Prince Philip's arrival. According to insiders, the Duke of Edinburgh "can't bear to be in the same room as Ferguson." This triggered the concern that their rift might result in a family friction at the upcoming royal wedding.

Katie Hint of Daily Mail wrote that the issue between the two was still about Ferguson's scandal with her financial advisor, John Bryan. "I am told that she has still not been forgiven by her former father-in-law for the infamous 'toegate' scandal of 1992. Fergie, who at the time was still married to Prince Andrew, was pictured on a sun lounger having her toes sucked by 'financial adviser' John Bryan," Hind wrote.

In the past interview, Ferguson admitted that they broke up because they have no time for each other. After their marriage, she only got to see Prince Andrew 40 days a year. However, experts believed that the scandal was really the cause of their divorce.

"She was famously photographed with her financial advisor and she was wearing a bikini in some garden in the south of France and he appeared to be sucking her toes," royal biographer Penny Juror said in the documentary. "She was at Balmoral when those photographs came out. The family came down for breakfast and there was Fergie in this shocking scene and that was the end."
