Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost attended their first in-person Hollywood event since tying the knot. The couple made a rare red carpet appearance together as they arrived arm-in-arm at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills for the American Cinematheque Awards on Thursday.

Photos of the couple showed Johansson donning a sexy white, backless suit. She completed her glam look with teardrop earrings, a silver necklace, and sparkling high heels. Jost, who is a regular on "Saturday Night Live," attended the event wearing a classic black suit.

The last time Johansson and Jost attended a major red carpet event was almost two years ago when they graced the 2020 Oscars before the COVID-19 pandemic. They have since made a virtual appearance at the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards, where Jost "slimed" his wife.

The event also marked their first big in-person event together since welcoming their son Cosmo in the summer. Back in August, Jost took to social media to announce that they had welcomed their first baby during the pandemic. “Ok, ok we had a baby,” he wrote. “His name is Cosmo. We love him very much. Privacy would be greatly appreciated,” he added.

Jost has since admitted that his mom isn’t a fan of their baby boy’s name. “My mom, I would say, was slightly thrown by it and didn’t quite understand it. I don’t know if she thought it was kind of like a hippie thing,” he told Seth Meyers in an interview last month.

“She would call us after three or four days, she’d be like, ‘Cosmo.’ And she’d be like, ‘And now, is it final? Like, did you submit the birth certificate?’ And we’re like, ‘Oh, yeah, we did that at the hospital.’ She was like, ‘OK, interesting. Because I was reading that there’s also a name Cosimo with an ‘I,’ so that could also be an option. Maybe Cosimo, that’s his real name, but then you can call him still Cosmo,’” he added.

Johansson and Jost tied the knot in October 2020.
