Seth Rogen shared a funny update regarding his upcoming project, noting that his 66-year-old mother, social worker Sandy Rogen, wrote an email to the studio head to ensure that his project gets a "green light."

"Did my mother just email the head of a major movie studio to get them to hurry up and green light our movie?" the 39-year-old actor tweeted Tuesday. "Yes. Yes she did."

While the actor didn't mention the name of the movie, he will be a part of various projects including "Invincible," "Chip 'n' Dale: Rescue Rangers," "The Fabelmans," "Chippendales" and untitled Illumination Entertainment Super Mario project where he will be lending his voice for Donkey Kong's character.

Director Dan Carrillo Levy joked in the comments section, "Can she email about mine? Same studio." Fans also shared their reactions in the comments section.

One of the fans asked Seth if his mother started the email with "I hope this email finds you well" while another fan asked if the email ended with "Thanking you in advance." Another fan added, "No, it started with "as per my last email". Really hits the executives where it hurts!"

A user shared their own story and wrote, "LOL, my mom called my OBGYN and tried to get my C-Section changed, she didn’t want her first grandson born on 06/06/06…. Gotta love our moms."

The comments section was flooded with many more stories revolving around mothers and how they made decisions on their behalf.

This isn't the first time the actor tweeted about his mother. Last month, Sandy tweeted, "You know how when you give blood you get a little badge that says,” I gave blood today”, well there should be one that says” I had great sex today”. Ha ha ha …"

Seth responded, "Burn this app to the ground."

Sandy also tweeted about her husband, actor Mark Rogen, having a cold and what he thinks about "kisses" during sex. "Husband has a cold. Husband says kisses during sex dont have germs," she wrote.

However, at that time Seth didn't respond to his mother’s tweet. On the personal front, Seth married actress Lauren Miller in 2011.
