Actor Seth Rogen has jokingly admitted how Paul Rudd's eternal youth was not only "little alarming," but also "upsetting in a lot of ways."

It was during the 39-year-old actor's appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Wednesday when he was asked about the newly dropped Super Bowl commercial featuring him and Rudd, 52.

"It was a little alarming in some ways," Rogen told Kimmel. "Honestly, because when I started working with Paul Rudd, he was older than I was...And now, I somehow passed him!"

Rogen further said how fans would easily assume he was Rudd's uncle.

"You would assume I was his uncle between the two of us. You would assume I was watching him," he explained. "I showed up on set and I was like, 'Damn, what happened? How did I pass you? Did they freeze you?' It was really upsetting in a lot of ways."

Rogen and Rudd have a long history of working together, which has reportedly led to their good friendship. The actor shared one such incident on Twitter last year, revealing the Marvel star tried to pull a prank on him in a hotel spa and failed.

At the spa, Rudd started giving Rogen a massage, thinking he will notice immediately. However, Rogen -- even though he knew it was Rudd -- stayed quiet and enjoyed the entire massage.

Rogen and Rudd have worked together on several movies including "40 Year Old Virgin," "Sausage Party," "This Is the End" and "Monsters vs Aliens." The two first met on the sets of the movie, "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy" released in 2004.

Considering Rogen's upcoming projects, the actor lent his voice to Bob's character in an upcoming animated movie, "Chip 'n' Dale: Rescue Rangers," which is under post-production. The actor will also feature in Steven Spielberg's movie, "The Fabelmans," which is slated to release on Nov. 23.

He will also lend his voice to an untitled Super Mario animated project, which is helmed by directors Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic. Rogen will give a voiceover to Donkey Kong's character. He is also rumored to play Nick De Noia's character in the movie, "Chippendales."

Rudd, on the other hand, will be next seen in Marvel's highly anticipated movie, "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania," which is slated to release on July 28, 2023. The movie will also star Jonathan Majors, Kathryn Newton, Bill Murray and Laurence Fishburne.
