Shailene Woodley Dating Jared Leto? ‘Divergent’ Actress Spotted With ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ Star, Photos Spark New Boyfriend Rumors

Shailene Woodley may have found her new off-screen leading man in musician turned accomplished movie star, Jared Leto. Rumors that the famous duo are an item have been heating up this week after the pair were spotted spending time in New York City recently.

According to a report from JustJared, Woodley was seen walking side by side with the 41-year-old “30 Second to Mars“ musician and actor in the East Village neighborhood of New York City Tuesday. While the duo didn’t show any PDA for the cameras, the 22-year-old “Divergent” actress didn’t look too pleased to be the center of the paparazzi's attention. According to the report, the alleged duo were also joined on the walk by an unidentified female pal.

The actors were reportedly both in the Big Apple to attend the Gotham Independent Film Awards on Dec. 2. Woodley, who received a nomination for best actress for her role in the romantic drama “The Spectacular Now,” lost out to actress Brie Larson for her film, “Short Term 12.” Leto attended the awards show on behalf of his “Dallas Buyers Club” co-star, Matthew McConaughey, to accept his win for best actor.

“I am not Matthew McConaughey,” Leto told the Gotham Awards crowd while accepting his co-star's award, adding, “But we have some technology at work here, and we have Mr. McConaughey on the phone right now. …. Matthew happens to be one of the few actors working today. He’s got a f--king job, so he can’t be here,” Leto later jokingly added.

While the rumored pair have yet to confirm or deny the reports on their official Twitter accounts, Woodley previously confirmed during an interview with Elle in October that she was romantically unattached. “I’m so young, and I’m single, and I just want to drift,” she told the magazine via Teen.com, adding, “I’m just going to be a drifter.”

Woodley was last linked to her “The Spectacular Now” and “Divergent” co-star, actor Miles Teller. The two-time co-stars sparked relationship rumors after photographers spotted the duo getting cozy at the MTV Video Music Awards in August. According to a report from Yahoo News, the twosome sat together during the show and were reportedly seen acting like more than friends.

“We watched as the two rising stars took turns wrapping their arms around each other’s shoulders and cracking each other up,” a source said, adding, “While all that might be nothing, it was definitely cute.”
