Sharna Burgess doesn't want to be pitted against her boyfriend Brian Austin Green's ex-wife, Megan Fox.

The pregnant "Dancing With the Stars" pro recently opened up about the comparisons between her and the "Transformers" actress during a candid interview with Us Weekly. Burgess shut down the idea that she should be "competitive" with Fox just because they've been with the same man, clarifying that they have no issues with each other.

"I think everyone wants this gossip on Megan and I because, you know, we essentially have been with the same man, but there is no gossip there," she told the outlet ahead of The Modern Day Wife's "What She Said" panel Thursday. "[People are] fascinated with this idea of us being in the same story, whereas her story finished with [Brian]. … People just wanna blend it into something else and make it is something that it’s not."

Burgess added, "We're two women that are living our lives and doing, you know, incredible things on our own. And we're both incredible women on our own."

Burgess went on to say that she feels the comparisons are simply an attempt to create a drama between her and Fox when there isn't any. The professional dancer added that she believes there is "much more power" in women being supportive of each other than being pitted against each other.

"It's such a shame that women are pitted against each other and that women … are believed to be competitive with one another when we don't have to be," Burgess said. "We can just be supportive of one another and there is so much more power in that."

Fox has since moved on from Green and is now engaged to Machine Gun Kelly. The couple announced their engagement in January.

Meanwhile, the "Beverly Hills 90210" actor and Burgess, who were first linked to each other in October 2020, are expecting their first baby together.

Burgess also opened up to Us Weekly about the moment she told her boyfriend she was pregnant with their first child.

The dancer admitted to being initially nervous about telling Green the news because he was watching the Los Angeles Lakers lose a game and they were "relatively new as a couple" at the time. However, Burgess said the actor just smiled at the reveal, hugged her and told her, "That's awesome."

"Even though we feel like we've spent lifetimes with each other, it's still a quicker timeline than we were thinking. We were probably a year ahead of what we were talking about, but he was so excited knowing how much I've wanted this," Burgess said.

Green is already a father of four. He shares Kassius, 20, with ex-fiancée Vanessa Marcil and sons Noah, 9, Bodhi, 8, and Journey, 5, with Fox.

Burgess said she was also "nervous" when it came to telling Green's children that they have a sibling on the way.

The couple ended up sharing the baby news with the help of an ultrasound photo. According to Burgess, the kids were "super excited" about their upcoming sibling and now say "good morning to Peanut," the nickname they have given the upcoming addition to their family.

Last month, Burgess and Green announced that they were expecting a baby boy due on the Fourth of July.

"We want to thank everyone for the amazingly kind well wishes. We are really excited to be welcoming a baby boy on or around the 4th of July," Green wrote on Instagram. "@sharnaburgess, I cannot wait to see you hold your/our baby."
