Following the release of Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello’s song “Señorita,” the stars reignited dating rumors. For years the singers have claimed to be good friends, but a video of the pair kissing at breakfast seems to have fueled fan theories that the two are in a relationship.

Over the weekend, Mendes and Cabello were spotted out grabbing a bite to eat. While fans often take photos or film when they see celebrities, an individual managed to record the moment the singers shared a passionate kiss.

On Saturday, Cabello and Mendes took a trip to Dottie’s True Blue Cafe in San Francisco. According to Us Weekly, the stars took a break from their meal and made out for 12 seconds. “They looked very much like a couple. You [could] see them making out at the table,” a diner told the publication.

“They looked very into each other. Shawn and Camila were splitting pancakes. Then after, they started kissing. He had his arm around her a lot of the meal, and they were chatting — not too much laughing, but they looked in love. They were there around 10:30 a.m., and not too many people noticed who they were,” the eyewitness added.

Dating rumors about Mendes and Cabello began in 2015 after the two released their song, “I Know What You Did Last Summer.” At the time, the singers insisted they were friends, and by 2018, Cabello was dating Matthew Hussey.

However, Cabello and Hussey reportedly split in June 2019. Since then, the “Consequences” singer has never felt “more alive.”

During an interview with Clash magazine, the cover girl revealed her recent break up has made her feel brave. “I feel like I can be much more honest with myself and other people because, obviously I’m growing up and I have a more grounded sense of who I am,” she told the publication.

“I feel so much more alive now, and I don’t feel scared anymore,” she added.

Last week, Mendes told fans he wasn’t dating Cabello, however, their latest makeout session seems to have created even more speculation about romance rumors.
