  • She recently appeared in a TV interview but she was shown only from the shoulders up
  • The baby will be her second child

Scarlett Johansson is expecting her first baby with husband Colin Jost and she is keeping it quiet

Pregnancy rumors sparked last month as the actress skipped several promotional events for her new movie, "Black Widow," which will release this Friday in theatres and on Disney Plus.

"Scarlett is actually due soon, I know she and Colin are thrilled," an anonymous source told Page Six.

A showbiz insider also informed the outlet that Johansson is "Keeping a very low profile."

"She hasn't been doing many interviews or events to promote 'Black Widow' which is surprising since it is a huge Marvel/Disney release and she is both the star and an executive producer," the insider added.

Last June 21, Johansson appeared in the "Tonight Show" with Jimmy Fallon through a Zoom call and she was shown from the shoulders up.

The 36-year old actress and her husband maintain a home in Montauk, East Hampton, but she did not turn up for a "Black Widow" cinema society screening event in Hampton last week. Her co-star David Harbour attended the event.

Scarlett would usually spend summer in Amagansett and Montauk, walking her dogs or getting a coffee. But this summer, she reportedly did not get into her usual routine.

Johansson met Jost on the sets of "Saturday Night Live" in 2006 when she made her hosting debut, while Jost was in his first year as a writer on the show. In 2017, the pair were spotted kissing at an afterparty for the show held at the ice rink of the Rockefeller Center. At the time, the actress was going through a divorce from French journalist Romain Dauriac with whom she shares a daughter, 6-year-old Rose Dorothy.

The "Black Widow" star and the "Saturday Night Live" writer made their relationship public in December 2017 and announced their engagement in 2019. They got married in a private ceremony in October 2020 in New York.

Jost is Johansson's third husband. This will be Jost's first child.
