Sia Calls Out ‘Pathological Liar’ Shia LaBeouf Amid FKA Twigs Lawsuit

Following English singer FKA Twigs’ lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend actor Shia LaBeouf, Australian singer Sia has come forward and accused LaBeouf of tricking her into “an adulterous relationship.”

On Saturday, Sia, whose full name is Sia Kate Isobelle Furler, shared a tweet in which she revealed that her relationship with LaBeouf was not strictly professional.

“I too have been hurt emotionally by Shia, a pathological liar, who conned me into an adulterous relationship claiming to be single,” Sia wrote.

“I believe he’s very sick and have compassion for him AND his victims. Just know, if you love yourself- stay safe, stay away.”

LaBeouf, 34, and Sia, 44, first worked together in 2015 when LaBeouf starred in the singer’s “Elastic Heart” music video. At the time, Sia was married and LaBeouf was in a relationship with actress Mia Goth.

Shortly after Sia’s initial tweet, she shared another post and applauded FKA Twigs for taking action against LaBeouf. “Also I love you ⁦ @FKAtwigs. This is very courageous and I’m very proud of you,” she wrote.

FKA Twigs, 32, who was born Tahliah Barnett, filed a lawsuit Friday in Los Angeles against LaBeouf. Court documents obtained by Variety reveal she accused her LaBeouf of sexual battery, assault and infliction of emotional distress.

FKA Twigs is requesting a trial by jury. If she is awarded damages, she said she plans to donate a “significant portion” to nonprofits that help domestic abuse survivors.

FKA Twigs has insisted she has not filed the suit for monetary gains. Instead, she is hoping to protect other women and to prevent further abuse by LaBeouf.

“Women everywhere are now on notice that LaBeouf is not the tortured artist he portrays himself as,” the lawsuit states. “He is a destructive and dangerous man.”

LaBeouf has a history of legal problems and substance abuse.

In 2014, he was charged in New York with disorderly conduct, harassment, and criminal trespass. In 2017, LaBeouf was arrested in Savannah, Georgia, for public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and obstruction.

In September, he was charged with misdemeanor battery and petty theft. LaBeouf has sought outpatient treatment for alcoholism.
