Skeet Ulrich recently admitted to knowing about Harvey Weinstein’s misconducts, but did not do or say anything about it.

The actor starred in the 1996 film, “Scream,” which was produced by Weinstein. While speaking with Cosmopolitan, he said that a lot of people also knew about it at that time, but they couldn’t come forward without knowing all of the facts.

“I had dinner with someone who is one of the most famous women on the planet – I won’t say who it is – who has not come out, who told me similar things… There is nothing you can do. I mean, what am I gonna do? I can’t step up, certainly then, on allegations. Honestly, and I think that’s what most people faced: How do you cut your livelihood from a very powerful corporation on something that you don’t know what the facts are?” he said.

Ulrich, who currently stars in The CW’s “Riverdale” as FP Jones, also said that he’s pleased people are already starting to come forward about the industry mogul’s misdemeanor. “That’s what it takes. Because one person stepping up and making allegations is gonna hurt that one person and not help anyone, especially against someone with that power,” he said.

The New York Times was first to expose Weinstein’s decades-long sexual harassment case against the actresses and models that he has worked with. Since then, he has already been fired from the Weinstein Co., and his membership at The Academy for Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Producers Guild of America have been revoked.

One of the first actresses to come forward about Weinstein’s alleged sexual abuse was Ulrich’s “Scream” co-star, Rose McGowan. On her Twitter account, she claimed that she was raped by the producer. However, Weinstein has since denied her claims.

Ulrich had the chance to meet McGowan last year, but they never talked about Weinstein’s deeds because the actress has not yet talked about it publicly. “None of this news was out at that time, so it certainly wasn’t anything I was going to bring up with her,” he said.
