Sophia Hutchins’ partner Caitlyn Jenner had a great time bonding with eldest son Burt last weekend when the two of them joined the very challenging Silver State 300.

On Wednesday, the former Olympian shared a snap of her and her son with ex Chrystie Scott as they prepare for the race. Burt is a driver for Gladiator Tires, so the vehicle they used was adorned with the company’s name.

“Had a great weekend racing with my son [Burt] for [Gladiator Tires] … still recovering from the 300 miles off road, through the Nevada desert,” Jenner captioned her post.

The Best in the Desert Racing Association’s Silver State 300 is a challenging 300-mile trek across the rough and rugged Nevada terrain that requires climbs and drops over mountains and valleys.

According to Burt, he and the “I Am Cait” star finished the race in 8th place even though they started 21st, or second to the last. He revealed in his own Instagram that they managed to overcome the challenge with zero flats or issues.

For the first part, Caitlyn was the one driving the race truck while Burt was navigating. For the remainder of the competition, Burt finished the race with his friend Nick von der Lieth navigating.

Jenner had a really busy weekend. Aside from joining her son at the desert race, she attended the George Lopez Foundation’s 12th annual Celebrity Golf Classic at the Lakeside Country Club in Los Angeles on Sunday.

At the sporty event, Kris Jenner’s ex reunited with some of her celebrity friends including Lopez himself and Eva Longoria. Other Hollywood personalities who showed up were Ron Perlman, Don Cheadle and Wilmer Valderrama.

In both events Caitlyn attended last weekend, Sophia was nowhere to be found. It wasn’t clear why the Pepperdine University graduate and rumored girlfriend of the reality star wasn’t able to make it. It’s possible that her busy schedule the week prior could be the reason for her absence.

On May 1, Hutchins attended a dinner meeting by Susan Rockefeller and Ohana & Co. in New York City where she shared her thoughts on “sustainability in beauty companies.” A day before, she and Jenner showed up at The Hollywood Reporter’s Empowerment in Entertainment Event at Milk Studios in the City of Angels. Sophia is also very busy with her new SPF line, Luma Beauty, these days.
