'Spy X Family' Episode 2 Spoilers, Preview: Anya Needs A Mother

Like a champ, Anya Forger clears the exam and the second round of assessment will be a parent-teacher meeting. The new episode is titled "Secure the Spouse Role."

Loid and Anya will get a letter from Eden College and it says the child must come with both parents. But Anya said her mother doesn't exist.

The official preview trailer of "Spy X Family" Episode 2 shows Loid executing a new mission. The trailer also shares a glimpse of Anya's new mother, Yor Forger, who is a trained assassin.

In the pilot episode of "Spy X Family" anime, Westalis' diplomat was assassinated in Ostania, and WISE, Westalis' intelligence agency, believed a far-right party was behind it.

The bureau decided to send their best agent, named Twilight, to investigate the matter in Ostania. Twilight disguised himself as Loid Forger, a psychologist, and as the episode progressed, he adopted a girl named Anya, who possessed telepathic powers.

"Twilight is an agent that works for WISE, Westalis' intelligence agency, and he is tasked with investigating Desmond, who is in Ostania and planning to start a war. Twilight disguises himself as the psychiatrist Loid Forger and adopts a girl named Anya so that he can enroll her into the prestigious Eden College to get closer to his target," read the synopsis of "Spy X Family" Episode 1, according to Crunchyroll.

"Unbeknownst to him, Anya is actually a telepath who can read people's minds. One day, members of a mafia group that is after Twilight kidnaps Anya. Loid realizes that he needs to reconsider his priorities and...," the synopsis continued.

The cast of the anime includes Atsumi Tanezaki as Anya Forger, Takuya Eguchi as Loid Forger, Saori Hayami as Yor Forger, Hiroyuki Yoshino as Franky Franklin, Kazuhiro Yamaji as Henry Henderson Yuko Kaida as Sylvia Sherwood, Atsushi Ono as Edgar, Kenichiro Matsuda as narrator, Marie Oi as Karen and Yuji Murai as Nguyen.

The opening theme of the anime is titled "Mixed Nuts" and is performed by Official HiGE DANdism. The ending theme song, "Kigeki," is by Gen Hoshino.

"Spy X Family" Episode 2 will release this Saturday at 11.30 a.m. ET. The episode will stream on Crunchyroll in Japanese with English subtitles.
