Use the geek force, San Diego. The sunny city is going to get a large dose of the Force once the fandoms converge for Comic-Con this summer. Luckily for “Star Wars” fans awaiting more “The Force Awakens” goodies, Disney has announced their tentative schedule of panels and even released a first-look at some of the “Star Wars” merchandise coming soon to a store near you.

In an exclusive preview by Entertainment Weekly, fans will get to see many of the new toys and action figures heading to store shelves before the movie conquers the big screen on Dec. 18. The outlet is featuring photos of three of the new toys that will be available for purchase during Comic-Con from July 9-12.

Most of the preview is dedicated to the snazzy new Stormtroopers making their debut in “Star Wars 7.” The first toy featured is an advanced 81 piece LEGO Stormtrooper that won’t be on sale until January 2016. The next option, a Hasbro Stormtrooper action figure, will be available for purchase at Comic-Con. For tiny car fans, Mattel Hot Wheels will debut a souped-up Stormtrooper option.

Yesterday, Nerdist announced the proposed “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” schedule heading to San Diego Comic-Con. If you’re planning to attend, make sure to go early on Friday, July 10, as there will probably be long lines for this big fan event.

Starting at 10 a.m., “Star Wars” fever will begin with a panel on their publishing arms. Later, Hasbro and collectable previews will take place before a special commemorative 40th anniversary panel in the afternoon. The big Hall H draw for “The Force Awakens” has not been announced, but director J.J. Abrams, producer Kathleen Kennedy and writer Lawrence Kasdan are slated to appear.
