Steam is hosting a huge sale of Japanese games across almost every genre in celebration of Japan’s Golden Week. Players who are looking to build up their libraries with their favorite series or discover new ones can now get up to 80% off their purchase.

The massive game library in Steam houses a large catalogue of games made in Japan, ranging from the genre-defining JRPGs to small indie titles infused with a bit of cultural flare. This year’s Golden Week sale includes discounts for legendary titles like the “Tales” series of RPGs, “Devil May Cry V,” “Nier Automata” and “Monster Hunter World Iceborne.”

Also included in the sale are game adaptations of certain anime series like “Sword Art Online” and “Naruto,” including the all-star brawling game “Jump Force.”

Even players who aren’t necessarily fans of manga and anime still have a large selection of popular games to choose from. The Golden Week sale includes discounts for the massively popular “Tekken” series of fighting games as well as “Street Fighter V.”

The realistic racing sim “Project Cars 2” is great for those looking for a game with an eye for technical details, and Hideo Kojima’s “Death Stranding” is perfect for gamers looking for an abstract yet story-rich experience.

Gamers who are looking for their fill of JRPGs will be pleased to know that major titles are also currently on sale. Apart from the aforementioned “Tales” series, games from “Valkyria Chronicles,” “Yakuza” and a number of classic “Final Fantasy” titles are also up for grabs for about 50% off.

For the uninformed, Golden Week is an annual celebration where four out of 16 of Japan’s national holidays take place. The entire week is dedicated to the celebration of each individual holiday, which typically results in a lot of free time for the people of Japan.

The Golden Week Steam sale is great for Japanese players who want to spend their holidays at home, but it also serves as a good opportunity for these games to reach a wider audience in the West.

The sale will run from April 29 to May 6.
