She’s one of the most forceful characters often at the front of storylines on “The Bold and the Beautiful,” but some fans are beginning to worry that Steffy Forrester may soon be off the CBS daytime series.

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, who portrays the legacy character on the show, announced back in October that she was pregnant and expecting her first child with husband Elan Ruspoli. The announcement came in the form of Instagram posts, where the actress posed in bathing suits on the beach while cradling her baby bump. She revealed in the captions that she was 24 weeks along at the time.

Of course, since then, fans have wondered if that means her character would soon be disappearing from the show to become a mom off-screen. The actress previously exited the role back in 2013, taking a break from the series for a few years. She came back again in 2015 full time and has since been at the front of several storylines.

Among her storylines since her return have have been ones which included her accidentally killing her own cousin, Aly (Ashlyn Pearce), epic battles with Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) and Hope (Annika Noelle) over Liam (Scott Clifton), an ill-advised dalliance with Bill (Don Diamont) and a battle against Spectra fashions when Sally (Courtney Hope) came to town and reignited the feud between the fashion houses by stealing Forrester designs.

CBS and Wood herself have not explicitly confirmed or denied reports she was exiting the show, but fans likely do not need to worry about whether or not the actress is sticking around. Though she may take a small break for a maternity leave, as several of her co-stars have done over the years, her name is not currently listed among soap opera comings and goings, meaning she is likely still sticking around for a while.

In addition, she also shared a clip of her character modeling in lingerie on the show during her pregnancy announcement. In the scene, her baby bump is clearly displayed, and she revealed in her caption that she wasn’t stepping back from the show because of her pregnancy.

“When the storyline called for Steffy to model in the Intimates Lingerie fashion show, I wasn’t going to step down because I’m pregnant,” she revealed at the time. “I was going to strut my stuff and embrace it! And that’s what I’m doing. Embracing this journey. Thank you for all of your love and continued support and a BIG Thank You to Brad Bell for allowing me to announce in such a special way.”

“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
