Black Friday shopping starts as soon as the turkey leftovers are in the fridge. Plenty of stores are open on Thanksgiving Day 2019 so people can start getting deals on Thursday night. First, however, shoppers will want to know store hours.

Many stores, like Bass Pro Shops and K-Mart, will unlock their doors early on Thanksgiving morning. Walmart is open all day with sales not starting until 6 p.m. Meanwhile, other stores won’t open their doors until the early evening. Target, Best Buy and Kohl’s all open at 5 p.m. JCPenney opens up before most turkeys are even out of the oven at 2 p.m.
