Sunday’s games didn’t change much in terms of the 2018 Super Bowl favorites with the New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers maintaining the best betting odds. The number of legitimate championship contenders, however, did grow as a result of the Week 9 schedule.

The Dallas Cowboys have better than 20/1 Super Bowl odds after winning their third straight game and defeating what had been the AFC’s best team. The Los Angeles Rams have better than 15/1 title odds now that they have sole possession of first place in the NFC West. The New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers are both considered to be real championship contenders with six wins apiece.

The Oakland Raiders didn’t establish themselves as one of the top threats in the AFC, but their odds indicate that a deep playoff run isn’t considered to be impossible. They trail the Chiefs by two games in the AFC West, having already beaten Kansas City once this year.

The Denver Broncos have completely fallen off as a candidate to win Super Bowl LII. With issues at quarterback and four straight losses, Denver now has 100/1 championship odds.

Nine teams have better than 20/1 Super Bowl odds, and two-thirds of them reside in the NFC. That includes the Seattle Seahawks, who lost in Week 9, and the Minnesota Vikings, who are 6-2 after their bye week.

Winless through the first half of the season, the Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers don’t even have Super Bowl odds anymore. The New York Giants could be joining them soon because of a 1-7 start.
