With mere hours to go until Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta, Las Vegas oddsmakers have made their opinions known on the potential outcome of the big game. The NFL championship matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots is expected to be a close, high-scoring game, according to betting odds from Bovada.

The online sportsbook lists the Patriots as three-point favorites. That is a slightly bigger point spread than the one offered by Vegas Insider, which has New England at -2.5. Three points is just about the biggest spread anyone is listing for this year’s Super Bowl, as the game is considered a toss-up by most experts.

According to Bovada, the over/under for the game is 56.5 points, roughly the same as it has been since odds were originally posted. These teams have two of the best offenses in the NFL, with the Rams slightly edging out the Patriots in most statistical categories.

Both teams are also capable of giving up big plays on defense, so this could be a shootout.

Analysts from around the sports world are split on whether the Rams or Patriots will leave Atlanta as victors. The Patriots have played in eight Super Bowls since 2001, and all of them have been decided by one score. The Rams, meanwhile, have covered the point spread in their past four games.
