The Kansas City Chiefs are the very early Super Bowl LV favorites with the best betting odds to win the 2021 title. Kansas City won its first championship in 50 years by defeating the San Francisco 49ers 31-20 in Super Bowl LIV Sunday night.

Patrick Mahomes won the Super Bowl MVP award, leading the Chiefs back from a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter. Mahomes has established himself as the best quarterback in football, and Kansas City is expected to compete for championships for years to come.

With the 2020 NFL season scheduled to start in seven months, the Chiefs are Super Bowl LV favorites across the board. Kansas City has +500 odds at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook. The Chiefs are a 6/1 favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook and a +650 favorite at FanDuel Sportsbook. Bovada gives the Chiefs +600 championship odds.

Kansas City wasn’t in last year’s Super Bowl, but they were the very early favorites to win the 2020 title in the hours after the New England Patriots beat the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII. The Chiefs came up short in overtime in the 2019 AFC Championship Game.

The Baltimore Ravens are clearly the Chiefs’ top competition in the AFC. They’ve got the second-best Super Bowl odds at FanDuel (+800) and DraftKings (+800). The Ravens are tied with the 49ers at both the Westgate and Bovada (+800).

Baltimore was the NFL’s best team in the 2019 regular season, leading the league with a 14-2 record. The Ravens went undefeated in October, November and December before being stunned by the Tennessee Titans in the divisional playoffs. Lamar Jackson was the unanimous MVP.

San Francisco is the consensus NFC favorite. The 49ers have +900 odds at FanDuel and +1000 odds at DraftKings.

The 49ers went from 4-12 in 2018 to an NFC-best 13-3 record in the 2019 season. San Francisco had the No.1 ranked defense and running game in the conference. Jimmy Garoppolo was the odds-on favorite to win the Super Bowl MVP award midway through the fourth quarter of Super Bowl LIV.

The New Orleans Saints have the fourth-best Super Bowl odds, followed by the New England Patriots at most sportsbooks. The Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles are among the next tier of contenders.
