Taylor Swift has taken some time off her busy schedule to support Joe Alwyn. Following the release of “Red (Taylor’s Version)” on Nov. 12, the Grammy winner took a trip to spend time with her boyfriend while he's on set for his upcoming film.

“Taylor visited her boyfriend on the set of his movie,” a source told E! News.

Alwyn is currently in South America shooting the movie adaptation of Denis Johnson’s novel, “The Stars at Noon.” Earlier this month, movie director Claire Denis also hinted that she was in Panama shooting for the film when she shared a snap of the country’s flag alongside a city sidewalk.

Reports about Alwyn shooting his new film in Panama surfaced last week, after some fans expressed concerns over him skipping Swift's performance on Saturday Night Live as the musical guest. Eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice Alwyn’s absence as Swift’s celebrity friends Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Selena Gomez, and Joe Jonas were all there to support the singer.

Shortly after her SNL performance, Deadline released a report confirming that Alwyn was in Panama shooting “The Stars at Noon,” which went into production in October. The outlet reported that Alwyn replaced Taron Egerton, who “had to leave the project due to personal reasons.”

Swift and Alwyn began dating in 2016 but reports of their romance did not surface until the following year. Since the start of their relationship, both Swift and Alwyn have kept their romance out of the spotlight. Even when they collaborated on Swift’s “Folklore” and “Evermore” albums, Alwyn was credited under a pseudonym as the co-writer for some of his girlfriend’s songs.

In an interview with Paul McCartney last year, Swift explained why they decided to keep details about their relationship mostly private. “I know you have done a really excellent job of this in your personal life: carving out a human life within a public life, and how scary that can be when you do fall in love and you meet someone, especially if you’ve met someone who has a very grounded, normal way of living,” she said.
