Congratulations are in order for Chelsea Houska and Cole DeBoer, who star on MTV’s “Teen Mom 2.” No, the pair didn’t secretly tie the knot — they’re expecting their first child together.

Chelsea took to Instagram Tuesday evening to share the good news, posting a photo of her and her fiancé holding hands while her daughter Aubree holds a piece of wood with a flower and a sonogram photo on it. Chelsea, 24, shared more details on her blog, revealing that while she and Cole are not sure of the child’s gender, Aubree, 6, is gunning for a baby girl. The “Teen Mom 2” couple will welcome their little bundle of joy in February.

“We are beyond excited for this journey and can’t wait to share it with you all! Big sister Aubree is also extremely excited and it’s no secret that she is hoping for a girl haha,” Chelsea joked in her blog post.

While her blog post suggests she may be considering sharing her journey to second-time motherhood with the world on the wildly popular MTV series, there are some things Chelsea has made clear she wants to keep private. In June her father, Randy Houska, opened up about his daughter’s involvement in “Teen Mom 2” during an interview with the “Dentist, Implants and Worms” podcast. He said that Chelsea “drew the line,” telling MTV she would not allow them to film her wedding. Randy assured listeners that it was no easy feat, but that Chelsea ultimately got what she wanted.

“There was a lot of fighting back and forth,” he said (via The Ashley’s Reality Roundup.). “They certainly wanted it.”

In the same interview, Randy said that his daughter would be OK with “Teen Mom 2” ending, forcing her to get out of reality TV all together. He said that she was definitely “ready to quit,” explaining that Chelsea only stuck it out because of the payout.

“She’s 25 and she has a house. That’s why she’s stuck with it,” he said. “She’s doing well and Aubree’s all set as far as college money.”

It remains unclear whether Chelsea plans to appear in future season of “Teen Mom 2,” but one thing is for sure — ex-boyfriend and baby daddy Adam Lind is through. During the Season 7 reunion Adam was extremely difficult, refusing to answer questions from host Dr. Drew Pinsky. He later revealed that he was “done with the show.”

“[I’m] not gonna give you guys what you want anymore. I’m just done with the show. I don’t want to participate in the show anymore,” he said. “I’m not going to give you guys any more fuel to the fire. I want out of this life. I’m f---ing sick of it ... Money’s not even worth it anymore.”

MTV has not yet announced if or when “Teen Mom 2” will return for Season 8.
