  • Kailyn Lowry is not interested in dating people she doesn't have anything in common with
  • The mother of four said she would not date men with children
  • The "Teen Mom 2" star said her life is already too public for her to use dating apps

Kailyn Lowry recently opened up about her dating life, and shared the type of men she won't date and why she’s not using dating apps.

The "Teen Mom 2" star sat for an interview with "Coffee Convos" on Thursday. The mom of four said during the interview that she wants to try casual dating, but she feels she can’t speak with people she doesn't have anything in common with. She also revealed that she is not interested in dating men with kids.

"Part of me wants to try casual dating just to see what it’s like. But I don't think that I could talk to people. I don’t have anything in common [with men]," Lowry was quoted by Us Weekly, as saying.

"I have four f–king kids! I don’t have anything in common with any man. I’m not gonna date someone who has kids. I’m just not gonna do it. Like, I will not."

The reality star also admitted that she is not using dating apps. She is hesitant to use them because her life is already very public.

"I feel like I couldn’t do a dating app just because I’m on TV," she continued.

"I feel like people would seek me out."

Lowry noted that she is open to using dating apps, but she also admitted that if she would, she wouldn't know where to start.

"I’m so awkward that I don’t know how I would be on a first date," she said.

"Like, I don’t eat in front of someone for, like, 10 weeks. Do not take me out on a date where I have to eat in front of you because I won’t."

Lowry recounted her past relationships and blamed the breakups for her lack of filter. She realized that she was too open to her exes about all of her baggage that she failed to show them her good parts.

"I just dive right into it," Lowry said during a September episode of her podcast.

Meanwhile, Lowry was arrested in Delaware on Sept. 26 for allegedly punching her ex-boyfriend, Chris Lopez. The incident allegedly happened on Sept. 4 when they exchanged custody of their 3-year-old son Lux at Lopez's place, according to the documents obtained by E! News.

Lopez claimed that Lowry attacked him by "punching him several times on the head and upper torso" after she discovered their son's haircut. She admitted that she was upset that Lopez cut their son's hair but insisted that the "dispute never became physical." She pled not guilty and was ordered to have "no contact, direct or indirect" with Lopez.

Lowry's arraignment is scheduled for Jan. 21, 2021.
