“Teen Mom: OG” star Maci Bookout took to Instagram after she heard about the fatal shooting in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Thursday that left four Marines dead. The Tennessee native sent her prayers and condolences to the victims’ families. Suspected shooter Mohammod Youssef Abdulazeez fired at Marine and Navy facilities and was shot dead by police.

Bookout, 23, asked her followers to remember the victims. “Such a tragic day in my hometown of Chattanooga,” she wrote. “Please keep everyone involved in today's shootings and our city in your thoughts and prayers.”

She shared a photo of the city with “Pray For Chattanooga” written across the top. The image was liked more than 30,000 times by her 2 million followers. Hundreds of fans from all over the country shared their prayers in the comment section. “Prayers for the loss of those who have fallen today ... May The Lord protect Chattanooga and our beautiful nation,” one person said. “Semper fi,” another added.

The reality star moved from Chattanooga to Nashville, Tennessee, in 2010 to be closer to her then-boyfriend Kyle King. The couple eventually split up, but she found love with current beau Tyler McKinney. The duo just welcomed a daughter, Jayde Carter, who was born May 29.

President Barack Obama said the Chattanooga attack was “heartbreaking.” "I speak for the American people in expressing our deepest condolences" to victims of the Chattanooga shooting, the president told reporters from the Oval Office Thursday. “I ask all Americans to pray for the families that are grief stricken.

"My main message right now is obviously the deepest sympathies of the American people to the four Marines that have been killed," Obama said. "It is a heartbreaking circumstance for these individuals ... to be killed in this fashion."
