Lifetime is hitting its viewers with a new romantic thriller this weekend.“Tempted by Danger” tells a story of a budding romance gone wrong when an up-and-coming lawyer’s new beau begins to reveal his stalker ways. The network original stars Keshia Knight Pulliam, Gabrielle Graham and Michael Xavier.

“Sisters, Nicole and Angela, are highly driven and successful in their careers. Angela is married with a baby on the way and wishes Nicole, a rising attorney, could have more balance in her life,” a synopsis on Lifetime reads.

That desire for her sister to have a love life pushes the character to play matchmaker, a decision she’ll soon regret.

“When Angela interviews and hires a new bright executive, Michael, she sets him up with Nicole who actually makes time to date him. The relationship seems promising until it becomes clear that Michael is moving much more quickly and obsessively than Nicole can handle.”

Keshia Knight Pulliam plays the role of Angela. Pulliam is famously known for her role as Rudy Huxtable in “The Cosby Show.” She has also made appearances in a few of Tyler Perry’s projects including “Madea Goes to Jail” and his series “House of Payne.” Her other Lifetime credits include “Radio Christmas,” “Jingle Belle,” and “Pride & Prejudice Atlanta.”

Gabrielle Graham spearheads the film with her lead role as Nicole. Most recently, the Canadian snagged a role as Nia in the Lena Waithe BET series “Twenties.” Her other acting credits include roles in “Hometown Holiday” and “In The Shadow of the Moon.”

Michael Xavier keeps his first name in the film as the obsessive leading man. Xavier appeared in “Christmas Inheritance” on Netflix and “Bitten” as Logan Jonsen. More notably, he appeared in Lifetime’s most recent film “The Clark Sisters: First Ladies of Gospel” as J. Drew Sheard. He also starred in “Radio Christmas” alongside Pulliam and made several appearances in “Northern Rescue.”

Tune in to the premiere of “Tempted by Danger” on Saturday at 8 p.m. EDT on Lifetime.
