Tesla Is Top Search On Pornhub Over Autopilot Porn Video

A viral video showing an alleged Tinder date having sex with a driver of a Tesla while the sedan speeds along a road on Autopilot caused the word "Tesla" to become the most searched word on Pornhub.

In a way, it’s not surprising a Tesla sedan was used in a sex episode. Blame it on Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk, who named his three Tesla EVs the Model S, 3, X. Musk has joked about wanting his EVs to spell-out S-E-X in the past, but Ford beat him to the letter E by registering its Model E hybrid electric sedan first.

The almost nine minute-long Pornhub video boasted about doing the act while using "Tesla on Autopilot,” its title noted. The Tesla is a Model S.

The Tinder date in this viral Tesla adult video is porn star Taylor Jackson, who’s picked-up by the unseen male driver. It doesn’t take long before Jackson gives in to her curiosity and decides to test the Tesla’s self-driving capability claim.

The video, which was shot from behind the coupling couple, showed the man initially having his hands on the steering wheel, until they weren't.

The video pushed "Tesla" to the top spot of searches on the porn site. Jackson later tweeted that she "made @Tesla the #1 search on pornhub." She also tagged Musk to the post.

Curious investigators surmise the video was taken some time in April. Some wryly commented that, as per Tesla instructions, Autopilot “is not a self-driving system.” Instead, this feature “is intended for use with a fully attentive driver, who has their hands on the wheel and is prepared to take over at any time.”

Tesla has also kept reminding the public its cars have visual and audio alerts reminding drivers to stay in control of their vehicle. In addition, all Teslas come with automatic emergency braking.

Despite these warnings, there are still people out there who get excited and comfortable with the idea of a car driving itself and deciding to test this claim to the limit.

Tesla and Pornhub were asked by various media outlets to comment on the video but haven’t bothered to issue a statement.
